OSCA 25th Anniversary Dinner

The Old Suttonians Cadet Association is 25 years old this December and we want you to join the celebrations!

To mark OSCA’s significant milestone, this year’s Christmas Dinner will be held at the prestigious RAF Club on Friday 20th December 2024. Whilst this venue has hosted a number of important CCF events over the years, this will be the very first time for an OSCA Dinner and seems an entirely fitting venue for what promises to be the finest evening of celebration with friends old and new, nostalgia and reminiscence-aplenty. Although the RAF are all about aircraft, we might also just see the odd boatrace or two.

For this special celebration, the dress code will be evening gown, cocktail dress, or dressy separates for ladies, and black tie or lounge suit for gents.

OSCA are really keen to get as wide a group as possible to attend this event – particularly those who we haven’t seen for a while. In order to have as many year groups represented as possible, former cadets are encouraged to speak to their year group buddies and get a squad together. On the other hand, perhaps you’ve drifted a bit – we know that it’s not always easy to maintain contact with people over the years – but we don’t want that to prevent anyone from joining us. If you fall into this latter category and are unsure whether to attend alone or not, maybe you’ve never been to an OSCA event before or haven’t been for many years… please just drop the OSCA Council a note. We can give you a bit of an insight into what the evening will be like, the names of people attending that you might know and we promise that will do everything we can to make you feel comfortable beforehand and on the night.

Ticket sales are now open at the keen price of £75, and £55 for students. Thanks to some generous sponsorship and careful negotiations with the RAF Club, the ticket price is little more than it was for the CCF Centenary dinner in 2015. £75 per head for a five-star, three-course meal, plus entertainment, half a bottle of wine and a slug of port – at one of the most prestigious clubs in the centre of London… on a Friday night in December, and already including the service charge tip to the excellent silver service staff, represents excellent value for money and we hope you agree!
